Emergency Action Planning (EAP) and Continuity of Operations (COOP)
EAP and COOP
The time to develop an Emergency Action Plan (EAP) is NOT during a time of crisis. Too many times we rely on the assumption “those things only happen to other people”. Give yourself the piece of mind and your team the assurance that your organization has a well thought out, cogent and rehearsed plan of action when facing emergency. In today’s climate danger and threat can strike from anywhere via any number of methods. Hostile actors will not show mercy to those providing comfort as humanitarians, raising awareness as media or even those on vacation in some of the world’s most iconic locations. Participants in the EAP training will learn the foundational principles of Emergency Action Planning, understand the progression of an emergency or catastrophic event and indicators leading up to an emergency event. Participants are also provided the opportunity to speak directly with first-responders and learn from first-hand accounts.
